Cut, paste, print, glue, mutter, run out for a few stickers = the cards you see above.
It felt good to be lost in the art of creating, and it helped me to take my mind off a friend undergoing an important surgery.
The taking my mind off my friend didn't work completely; he seemed to be ever present in a corner of it somewhere and many prayers got said.
It was time to send out the next batch of Love Notes, and I've always enjoyed creating something that I hope becomes a bit special to the receivers.
So, I rummaged through papers.
I dug out previously done backgrounds, which at the time of creation, I didn't have a clue what to do with them.
Then, I wished I had created a few more backgrounds.
I selected some instagram photos, copied, and printed.
Throw in some washi tape for good measure.
I did a great deal of muttering when the cards weren't turning out the way I envisioned.
Somehow, they more or less came together, and I'm pretty sure my friend would not have wanted me to sit around and mope.
He's big on creativity, this friend of mine.
He came through surgery in great shape, more worried about friends and family than himself.
Today, I'll take great joy in writing out these notes and sending them on their way.
