Wonderful written piece, I love the image at the top of top too, such emotion, and great processing, what a fantastic piece of masonry! I too have journals and I myself research family history as well. I have been writing up as a book for my children and it starts with a chapter on myself. The first email from Kim (Beyond Layers course) got me thinking and I re-read what I had written and added a few extra pieces. Karen

Your commentary is wonderful --a nice accompaniment to this beautiful image. I love statuary, particularly the type found in cemeteries. Your texture work gives the image a lot of depth and complexity. Nice work.

Thanks for your story, Paula. Heartfelt and moving. The image is perfect. And the quotes. I look forward to seeing more of your art as we journey together on Kim's course this year ahead.

It's a pleasure to meet you Paula. I too am in the BL class with Kim K. Loved your post, loved your photos, I'm anxious to look around some more.
