Your eyes just have to follow them across the page; they draw you right into the picture, and then, well, you just have to go where they take you!
C'mon! You know you want to follow this little dude and go where ever he's headed.
Kat, of Kat's Eye Studio, is finishing up exploring diagonals, and as always, ever late to the party, I wandered back through some photos, searching for diagonals. Guess what? Yup, you got it - they're everywhere. Even these tiny blades of grass help to carry your eye around the photo.
Remember this photo from Ellicot City? I bet your feet feel the cobblestones underneath them as you travel with me.
And, I showed you a variation of this shot before as well. Diagonals provide movement, plain and simple, and I love them, just love them.
Mother Nature does an awesome job with them, don't you think?
...maybe we could go around the bend together?
So many diagonals, so little time.

Hi Paula, this is a great set of diagonals! Your nature shot is so lovely, and the bridge image with the textures of the rocks and the interesting lines is terrific! I love your opening pix -- we have redheads in our family too!

Wonderful diagonals! I too am intrigued by the bridge and would like to follow the road to see where it leads. And those first two - I would not have thought of it: child's body as diagonals!

Lots of great diagonal examples. You're right - they are everywhere! I like how the diagonals in the bridge shot lead me under the bridge. Thanks for linking in!
