The days are whirling by so quickly, and I am just not sure where there disappearing to! Right now, my mind is focused on packing for Art & Soul in Hampton, VA. I haven't even started, well, the packing part, that is! I've spent the last two evenings buying a few supplies...replacing black pens, some new gel pens as well. (I am a certified penaholic; there are NEVER enough pens in my art room. I probably should post a picture of my pens again. It's amazing.), smaller jars of gel medium and gesso, and so the list goes. School is keeping me hopping, as is life in general. So, no new art other than the calendar round robin I sent on its merry way earlier this week. Well, some new art, but not finished yet. My thoughts...my art...is off on a bit of a tangent yet again. So, I flipped back through some pictures of stuff I had traded and came across this little bird atc. He alwyas makes me smile, so I thought I'd share him with you.
Back to getting ready for A & S...You'd think I'd have this more under control. Not. Phil did bring my travelling, rolling tool boxes up out of storage, and when I'm done here, I'll go start. I'm dreading it. I really need a U-Haul. I want to take it all. I need it all. I know that whatever I leave behind, I will need. What I"d really like to do is have a little travelling studio and just spend my days going from art "convention" to art "convention" with some time at the beach in between. I can't wait to see Jeannine and just create some journals in person.
I'm also getting a kick at being mentioned in other people's blogs and having them link to me. What a lift to be reading a favorite blog and see yourself mentioned and linked to. Cool beans!
Okay, I really really need to go decide what not to take with me. Decisions, decisions, decisions!
